I have been to Lookingglass place multiple times growing up. It is the best place for family or any other gatherings. Beautiful home and beautiful views. It also is very spacious and has a beautiful tree inside the home. It is a short drive from San Antonio (45 min) which makes for a perfect weekend get away. The home is also not a far drive from the lake as well (less than 10 minutes).

The Looking Glass Place has been one of my favorite rentals. The home’s spaciousness and amenities made for hosting our entire family’s reunion an experience we will never forget. Terry and his team were super an accommodating and friendly. The hot tub, fire pit, koi pond, and access to the lake made our stay really special. I highly recommend this rental for your next family gathering! We will definitely be back!
My cycling team had an amazing stay at the Lookingglass. We enjoyed hanging out in the spacious living room, having dinner together at the large dining table and soaking in the hot tub after workouts. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had the most wonderful time at the looking glass house! The home is beautiful, the location is a hidden gem! It was fully equipped for our stay with tons of room and beds for friends if they wanted to stay. We had a cozy bonfire, crawfish boil on the back patio which is huge, & got to enjoy the hot tub overlooking the lake, we didn’t even leave the house, it was just wonderful!! Thank you for letting us stay for my 30th birthday, it was the best so far! ❤️🙏🏻

Looking Glass did not disappoint! This was our first family Thanksgiving gathering at Canyon Lake. Our family loved this gem of a home. We spent a few evening by the fireplace inside and by the fire pit outside in the awesome backyard and patio. It is so peaceful here. This home has everything you could ever want! It is fully supplied for casual to formal dining. We were able to have a full turkey dinner for 12 and did not want for any pot, pan, dish, place setting, utensil to candle sticks. There was room for all of us to have a place to retreat if we wanted to play games, read, watch TV, use the hot tub, sleep or meditate. Our guest were in awe of this beyond beautiful home! Our group has been staying with Terry at Lookinglass Place for 16 years! The number of us varies each year from 10-16, but we ALWAYS have plenty of room. We enjoy the peaceful backyard and the home's great location, both close to Jacob's Creek Park at the lake and the Horseshoe on the Guadalupe. Terry is always easy to work with and very accommodating.
We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Lookinglass House. There were 13 of us and we had plenty of room to be together and yet have our own space when we needed it. The stairs are a bit steep and the staircase is high, but we taught our little ones to navigate them and only had one mishap. The yard is amazing! Our little ones especially enjoyed the hammock and swing, the deer and fish, and the hot tub overlooking the hills. What a beautiful spot this is for a getaway! The house and yard were just like the pictures on the website. We will be returning to this lovely place!
I stayed here with friends and it was the perfect winter getaway! The house is spacious and beautiful and the backyard is perfect for socializing. The next time it gets too cold in Chicago, I'm heading back here for another wonderful vacation!
